Hotel Charles - Budapest

The bus stop right outside the hotel made exploring Budapest so convenient, and the personalized farewell gift from the staff at check-out left a lasting impression.

Charming retro vibes and fine views. Quality breakfast catered to all, and the locality was superb, with buses at the doorstep taking you straight to the city. Staff's multilingual skills impressed me. The cleanliness could use some attention, though. My room's carpet needed a good scrub.

Very nice hostel . Good food at the restaurant , not very far away from tourists zones ( castle , gellert hill ) .

Noise from the street may be annoying for sleeping

Very friendly staff. Where do you find a 3-star hotel with assisting you carrying the luggage to and from your room. Spacious rooms. The hotel may be a bit dated, but the rooms inside were impeccable clean, my bathroom newly remodeled. I rented a bicycle at the hotel and was able to explore Budapest in a very interesting way. Yet the location of the hotel is just a short distance away from the city center.

I loved my stay! The cozy retro vibes were good, and the steak dinner was one of the best I've had. Breakfast? Amazing choices and flavors! I'd definitely return!

Location of hotel is very good. When we arrived, we left a car on the street because we did not need it. Everything is on 2km far away from hotel.

I liked everything about the hotel. Friendly professional and helpful English and Romanian speaking staff. Good breakfast. A pleasant and comfortable hotel, very close to bus station and near historical center of Budapest (15 to 20 minutes walking).

Spacious room with a lovely view to Buda, and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast provided a fantastic selection, a real highlight. The carpet in the room required a deep clean, which affected the overall feel of the space.

Staff was very hospitable and rooms are spacious and with a kitchenette (studio) and there is a private parking for a car.

Not good farniture

The spacious room offered a cozy atmosphere with a charming kitchenette. The location was perfect, with a bus stop conveniently right outside for easy access to the city.

Some amenities could use an upgrade.

Comfortable Stay with Excellent Staff

I appreciated the staff's attentive service, especially when they rearranged transportation due to flight delays. The breakfast buffet featured delicious options, though I recommend exploring nearby restaurants for a nicer meal. The experience was pleasant, but be aware of potential noise from the street.

hotel charles was more then i expected.the stuff is very helpful and pleasant.the hotel is clean,the rooms are very nice and the breakfast is great.i would reccomend hotel charles to everone who goes to budapest..it seems that manager of that hotel knows what he is doing.the way they treat guest should be the way everyone treat guest.
